Whats wrong with my dog?

Ihave a medium sized sheltie (shetland sheepdog) and a large black lab. the lab is 2 and the sheltie is 11. they have fought 3x and every time the lab got laid out by the sheltie. they are aggressive to each other all the time, especially over attention. but, my sheltie keeps lick the inside of the labs ear like hes gonna get beat up by the lab if he doesnt( haha ya right) i hate when they fight. but why does he do that?

What type of seasonal activity is your most favorite?

Summer backpacking and camping. These have long been my favorite activities. I love the mountains. The perspective it gives me on life in general and my own life touches me deeply. I feel like I know my place in the universe when I'm in the mountains, especially in the forest. There I am part of the ecosystem, part of nature. In the city I lose that connection, and I feel much like just one of the mes.

It sounds like your pion is History, so don't go into special education. I am a special ed teacher and I can tell you unless you have a pion for working with these kids you will not be happy in what you do. I have to work with teachers who went into special ed for the job security or the extra pay ( a whopping 5%!) and they are not happy and just make things worse for the students. These kids need someone with the knowledge and the PATIENCE to deal with all their issues. Special Education encompes a huge range of disabilities and problems. It's easy to burn out because these kids can be so demanding. I personally love my job and wouldn't think of doing anything else, but I do come home exhausted physically and emotionally. I also spend a huge amount of time trying to stay current with the new research and best practices for teaching these special kids. If history is what you enjoy, get your degree and relocate to where the jobs are. You'll be much happier in the long run.

Every time you buy a BYB or PM animal you give them a reason to make more. I would never buy a pup or dog from a BYB or a PM but I have adopted them from rescues where they end up after some idiot has paid $800 for a pup they can not housebreak who bites so they dump them in shelters or rescues. Rescues get pups from PetsStore when they can not sell them. The PetStore takes the loss on their taxes so they don't lose much.

Which University should I choose?! Need HELP!!?

Okay, I have applied to USF (South Florida), UCF (Central Florida), and UWF (West Florida) as a transfer student with my A.A. degree. I live in the Florida Panhandle near UWF, but my boyfriend really wants us to move to Tampa and attend USF. I just don't know what to do anymore. I feel like we can get a perfectly decent education right here at the University of West Florida AND save all of the costs of moving across the state. We have our own apartment, our own jobs that work with our school schedules, and I just feel like it would be irrational and irresponsible to go to USF or UCF basically just to say "we went there". I don't know, maybe I'm wrong and those schools would open up more doors for us. I have talked to some friends at work and they have told me that it would be smarter to just stay where we are and go to UWF. They said that we are all settled here so it would be stupid for us to move across the state just to go to a University when there is a perfectly good one right here in our backyard. How often does your baby kick/move at 22-23 weeks?

I don't know if I'm feeling her hiccups for the first time these last few days, but it feels like she is kicking all the time. Sometimes it's rhythmic (probably hiccups), and somtimes not. Obviously, there are rest periods, but when she is active, it's like she's going crazy in there or something. I've been feeling her move for several weeks, but it has just suddenly intensified. Why did Foreman fight like an inept fool against Muhammad Ali?

I still think Ali would have won as he was an around better fighter who could take punch better than anyone. But I feel Foreman made it easy for Ali as he fought such a foolish fight in 100 degree heat against someone who was as tough as they come, which Foreman and his corner ie Saddler, Archie Moore and Sandy Saddler (fought Willie Pep in extraordinary battles) should known in the first place. I am not being a crusader as I am a big Foreman fan but he should have known he was unlikely to conquer Ali by a knockout as Ali was far too durable and had amazing punch resistance and normally showed that in all of his fights. Okay he lost on points to Frazier and Norton but George should still have known that doesn't necessarliy guarantee him a knockout over someone who had not been knocked out in 44 fights at the time and had also beat big punchers in Sonny Liston and Cleveland Williams even though Foreman annihilated both Frazier and Norton. So in my opinion Foreman and his corner contributed to his loss in Zaire as they went into the fight without any battleplan whatsoever, instead just looked for the big punch that was going to knock Ali out, which wasn't going to happen as Ali was far too tough and smart over longer fights whereas George got frustrated and disorietated after 4 or 5 rounds. Especially against Ali as Ali had lost to Frazier and Norton who George destroyed. But if Foreman was smart during that fight he would have paced himself better and tried to win the bout on points although that might have gave Ali the chace to pick Foreman off and win a landslide points decision. So to be fair to Foreman, he might have did the right thing by pressuring Ali although he could have did it with a bit more thought ie used the jab more as he neglected the jab he used against Frazier and Norton when he fought Ali. So it was a catch - 22 scenario for For as he would have been picked off by Ali if he boxed more conservatively and wore out - just like what happened - by putting pressure on Ali lol. That is what makes Ali such an awkward fighter to be up against and and fantastc fighter to watch. I also think Ali could have beaten Foreman by trading with him as Ali could take a punch better than anyone but just chose to block and tie up Foreman when Foreman got close as George had a habit of pushing opponents. But if you watch this fight Ali looked so much stronger than Foreman in the clinches and when pushing Foreman off just like he did against other quality opposition in Sonny Liston.

BUT, a great solution that we used in my large office was this: every week on Friday at 3pm the fridge was cleaned out and a warning email/reminder was sent. Those of us who had items in the fridge, such as salad dressing, who didn't want it thrown out put labels on ours such as "WILSON FEB 8, 2008" so they would know that it was to stay in the fridge, we were aware it was in the fridge and had recently checked our items. As long as there was a recent label (most just taped a post-it on) then they didn't throw it out. Perhaps you could ask if that would be okay for some of the more long term items or items you've brought to eat the next day.

Last night my friends and I went to a club for metal/rock music, getting in was fine and ordering drinks were fine. We were all slightly wasted already as we had been to several places around town before we ended up there, however we all still had the ability to compose ourselves properly. About half an hour in me and a mate went back outside for a smoke where we were basically verbally aulted by a guy who too offense to a soviet badge on my hat, we were right outside the club and a few feet away from the clubs doorman who basically just watched as the fella told me how he was going to 'knock my teeth to the back of my face'. About 5 minutes later I gave the aggressive give a choice to either follow me to the back of the club where we could really have it out or he could walk away, which he did... Right back into the club! I asked the doorman of it was possible to report the offending guy but he replied with 'he's a regular here, you're not, f**k off'. I was annoyed by his attitude but I gave in and dropped it, 10 minutes later however another doorman came up to me in the club and claimed I was dancing with a drink in my hand a while ago which is forbidden, I had not been doing this and told the bouncer but he immediately started shouting and telling me he didn't like me from the start at which point he threw my own drink over me and threw me out the back door. He didn't bother to open it he just used me to ram it open. Now I don't care how tough these guys jobs get, we all have tough jobs but you don't expect us to physically abuse our customers. Whats going on with incision site after I had a very large melanoma removed?

8 months ago I had a very large melanoma removed from my lower calf of my leg. Recently the incision site has been itching not around the edges like if it were healing but on the inside where I cant scratch it. I know a growing melanoma will have a tendency to itch, is it possible that the melanoma is growing again in the same spot?

Getting the drums off is a pain in the @#$. When I did my rear brakes I just removed the four bolts on the back plate and pulled the drum and wheel bearing together. Just make sure you torque them to specs when you reinstall the drum. Hope this helps

Why do my legs get extremely itchy right after I shave?

I am 16 years old and been shaving for about 4 years now. I've never really had any irritation problems with shaving my legs until about 6 months ago. It's RIGHT after I shave my legs get so unbearably itchy. The first time it happened I rubbed ice all over my legs to numb them it was so bad. I also see little res spots covering some of my leg, this started with the itching. I do have sensitive skin, and I have tried using different tyoes of shaving creams for regular and sensitive skin, I have used soaps and seems now nothing works. I've been using the same brand of razor (venus embrace) for about 2 years now. Anyone know what may be the problem here besides to stop shaving, to wax, or use hair removal creams? (my skin overreacts with hair remval creams and waxing). PLease help!

I am baffled at how spammers get access to my email address. I diligently click on the unsubscribe option at the bottom of each email. However most of the time they are from the same organization promising to remove your email from their list. I am left to wonder if it is even worth the trouble of consistently doing this. I come from 3 generations of missionaries, teachers, and pastors. All of which are service oriented & underpaid. I myself am a health practitioner that makes average income. I have been working for this one commercial construction company now since 1994. I have always worked a minimum of 40 hrs a week but on an average, I would work more than 45 hrs per week without being paid any overtime, and I had no qualms with that. Over the past few months though, I have been working up to 15 hrs per day 4 days a week = 60 hrs. And this work is out-of-town and away from my family. Even on my days off, I will sometimes be told to "come in" and help other employees with their projects even though they (other employees) only work a 40 hr week. I have been informed by the owner on a regular basis that "times are tough" and "we all have to make sacrifices" when he flies to the Bahama's and cruises around on his 70 ft yacht every other week and we (the employees) have rarely been given more than 1 week vacation during any given summer.....It just doesn't seem right. We employees have been a substantial part of the owner being able to have the luxuries that he has, and for him to have me work more than 20 hrs of overtime every week and not expect to compensate me for it...seems ridiculous and unfair and possibly illegal. Or, maybe this is just the way it is and I should shut-up and be thankful I have a job. What do you think?

Why is my cat so freaked out when my other cats try to play?

So I would love to hear from women who have irregular who has ovulated late around day 24 to 28 day of there cycle. My jaw is killing me!! What could it be??!!?

I woke up this morn & felt fine - but around 8am or so my right jaw bone started aching. I didn't think too much of it -- cause my left glands were swollen a couple days ago cause i have had an on going cold for about week & 1/2 now. I am not as sick as i was -- i still hafta blow my nose tho. I thought maybe i had a small sinus infection & then yesterday my left side quit hurting. It is a different hurt tho - not like the gland is swollen like my jaw is KILLING me! It is making my upper teeth hurt & givin me a slight headache. I have a tooth on my right bottom that is pretty bad & need to get it fixed -- but now i am 2.5 months preggo & will hafta wait until i have the baby to get it fixed! So i'm not sure what is making my jaw hurt sooo bad. I used to grind my teeth when i would sleep a few yrs ago -- but NEVER did my jaw feel like this - so i now i can prolly throw that out. I already have had issued with my bowel functions...I tend to be unable to go for long periods of time. I used to have an eating disorder, had it for many years (14 in fact...this is my 14th, but it is not as bad as it used to be). I started taking Alli lately, because I am weighing in the high 120's (5.41/2) and I can not stand it. I don't have a really detailed plan layed out or anything...I guess it all depends on what age my daughter starts asking questions and at what age the school decides to begin education. I do intend to be completely open and honest with her. I'm not going to be one of those shy moms who thinks it's awkward and embarring to talk to my children about such things. I also do not believe in abstinence only education...I plan on telling my daughter sometime during her pre-teen years that she needs to come directly to me as soon as she makes the decision to become ually active. Not really.. your workout routine should involve a little more cardio and a little less weight lifting.. for example, do two of the chest exercises and then incorporate some cardio. Keep saturday and sunday as rest days, and remember, you don't want to damage your muscles, which can happen from over working them. If you feel any extra pain in a muscle, aside from the obvious sore-ness, you should definitely rest for a few days (or more if needed) and consider toning down the workouts a bit :) Hope this helps!

I have a localized pain to the right of my belly on. When I push it, it feels more firm than the other side. It hurts a bit, but feels good when I pull my waist band of my pants up to that level (a little support). I'm carrying about 20 pounds too much so my fat may be hiding a bulge. I cannot remember doing anything to pull a muscle, and this has been (slightly) painful for about a week. I feel it when I lift something. I have never been diagnosed with having a hernia before, but I had pain in this area a while ago. A CAT scan at that time showed nothing.

Eye Infection?

I have an eye infection in my right eye that I went to the ophthalmologist for. he said that it was either strep or staff and that i had to be really careful not to let it spread. I am on 2 antibiotics and have been monitoring it a lot. Within the last hour it has started to burn and the skin around my eye is peeling. It almost feels like a headache, but on my eye. I just looked in the mirror and it is actually spreading more! The doctor said that if it bothers me a lot or if it starts to spread that I should not go to school and just monitor it.
