What are the advantages/ good points and inconeniences/ bad points about living in Beirut?

This is for a French essay and I have decided to pick Beirut as my city. I have never lived there so I also really really want to know more about Beirut! Please answer in French if possible but English will be perfect as well! Shukran kteeeeeeeeer :DDD
