Asking this for a friend about an order of protection?

I have a friend that has an order of protection against him. He had some things at her house that she agreed to give back to him. Yesterday me and a few others, but not him, went to pick them up. Before we got there, my friend had gotten 2 text messages from her saying that a few things were not set out and she would some how get them to him. He did not respond to the messages, as he would be going against the OP She could have easily contacted one of us instead on that info, as she does have our phone numbers. Is that considered violating the order of protection? I went through the legal papers and it states on there about the respondent not having any contact, but I don't see anything about the petitioner not having any contact. Someone that knows the law in this situation please help. This has taken place in Illinois, and he is planning to contact his lawyer.
