Question about Anodes?

In any electrochemical cell, oxidation (loss of electrons) occurs at the anode. So the anode half-reaction is one where electrons appear as a product (on the right side of the equation). Only choices b) and e) fit, and only choice e) is written in the same direction as in the overall cell reaction.
