Did the Dems and Media Fail in Attempted Character ination of Sarah Palin?

A new poll taken after last night's speech shows that 52% of Americans have a favorable opinion of Sarah Palin. That's roughly equal to the percentage who have a favorable view of Obama. Have the Democrats and their willing accomplices in the media failed in inating Gov. Palin's character?
