Can you have these in a marine fish only tank?

yep they would hapily fit in a 36gallon - but the tang can get quite big, so keep an eye on him, and no other fish can be added in, make sure you get a small tang to allow for him to grow and once he grows a bit on the big side, see if you can trade him for a smaller one.
